Shiro Sagisu & Piano Love Themes
Shiro Sagisu is a well known anime composer who has been working on soundtracks since the early Eighties. He is a skilled pianist, and one of his specialties is writing love themes for the piano. I’m exploring two of his compositions today: “Seventeen Love” (1985) and “Quatre Mains” (2012). Both songs are themes concerning teenage love.

My Growth as a Music Arranger
In 2008, I began developing a vanity RPG game project using Enterbrain’s RPG Maker XP software. Incidentally, I spent twice as much time working on its soundtrack than I did on the game itself. Out of this project came one of my most frequently downloaded songs, “The Tea Garden.” Two versions of this song exist, the 2008 version and a more recent one.
